Italian roads and safety: maintenance is not enough! In a recent article published by Rosario Murgida in Quattroruote, a worrying picture emerges of our road network, put to the test by extreme weather events and insufficient resource for adequate management, especially at municipal level. ‘We are in 19th place in Europe for accidents, with 52 deaths per million inhabitants,’emphasises Roberto Impero.
