Another Milestone for German Road safety! Strengthening our global presence! We’re excited to
announce the installation of our Leonidas 110P crash cushion on the B66 near Leopoldshöhe, in the
North Rhine-Westphalia region, in December 2024.
This project represents another step forward in enhancing passive road safety.
The work was managed by VSB infra GmbH & Co.
KG on behalf of the client Landesbetrieb Straßenbau.
NRW Why the Leonidas 110P Model? Initially, a different model was planned during the design phase.
However, the designer chose the Leonidas 110P for its advanced technical features, seamless compatibility with the existing barrier system, and ability to ensure optimal protection even in high-risk situations.
Leonidas, the world’s safest, most compact, and high-performance crash cushion, is designed to withstand impacts up to 130 km/h. It stands out for its robust features in every aspect.
CE-certified with Z1D1 redirective protection, it is totally made of steel, making it fully repairable.
Delivered pre-assembled, it ensures easy and quick installation.
