Crash Cushions Family

SMA Crash Cushions successfully passed 13 experimental tests at the first attempt. In particular 9 crash tests have been ne...cessary to validate the Parallel Crash Cushions for the speed levels 50, 80, 100 and 110 km/h, and 4 crash tests to certify the Wide impact absorbers for the levels 80, 100 and 110 km/h. In addition to these, SMA Crash Cushions have also performed the crash test included in the table 2 of the UNI EN 1317-3 for the 80 km/h level speed, that is specific for tunnel installations.

SMA Crash Cushion 110P has also been tested at a speed of 130 Km/h with great results. Moreover, it has been tested wi...th a pick-up at 100 Km/h according to the American Normative NCHRP 350 against TL 3.37.
